Wolfdogs: Take A Walk On The Wild Side With These Amazing Creatures

Have you ever had a chance to meet wolfdogs in real life? I hadn’t! I had seen videos of people visiting wolf dog sanctuary’s in various states but didn’t know Washington a sanctuary of its own! To be honest, this trip was also part of a birthday surprise so it was a win-win. This particular sanctuary is located in Shelton, Washington. A short 30-minute drive from home. Updated April 2026 Day 1: Mount Vernon On Saturday, the day began with some much needed coffee to prepare for 5 hours of driving. Then, arriving at our hotel to check in at Wyndham Mount Vernon in Washington state. The hotel was gorgeous with massively high ceilings, a gym, a pool, and free breakfast in the morning. Our hotel was a five minute walk from a Orange Teriyaki, a bowling alley, and some other shopping amenities. The staff at Orange Teriyaki were incredibly nice and our food only took 5 minutes to be ready after ordering. They offer take out…
