Welcome to My Blog!

A personal travel blog where I share where I’ve been and the photography I’ve captured through those adventures.

Hello and welcome! This is my first ever blog post and I’m excited to start this new journey and chapter in my life. I’ve been practicing photography, as a hobby, for over 10 years. As a kid growing up, I would alway take my mom or dad’s phone and snap as many photos on their phone as I could, before they noticed. Sometimes, what would result would be some really and absolutely incredibly blurry photos. Other times, maybe ten out of a hundred photos, I would manage to get some really good ones! Whether it be of my dog or some candid photos of the family. This was my first experience and stepping stone into realizing how much I love photography.

Thankfully, I had the opportunity to attend a high school where there was an active film as well as a digital photography classes. Both of which I participated in prior to graduation. An experience I will always cherish. Although I have an appreciation for those that work with film, I am geared more towards digital.

I’ve most recently started getting more in line with my style and how I edit my photos to represent the world I see around me. Join me on my adventures and I am open to suggestions on where to go or what to do next!

A Little Bit More About Me

I’ve been thankful and fortunate enough to grow up in a military household and have had opportunities to live in: Oregon, Nevada, Alaska, and Colorado. Due to the moves, I had early in my life, I can’t seem to stay in one place more than a couple of years. I know there’s more to experience in this world and I’m itching to do just that! Most of my photography is of landscapes around me, I haven’t dived too deep into portraits. I’ve also had opportunities to visit: Canada, Costa Rica, England, France, Italy, and Mexico. I hope to add more countries to that list in due time!

In each blog post I’ll share what I did each day, sites I got to visit including links to those locations so you have the opportunity to look into the sites for yourself, and overall thoughts on the experience. My goal is to help provide a genuine outlook on the experiences I’ve had and provide you with the enough information to feel inspired to take your next trip, or to allow enough information for you to learn from my mistakes (which I have no problem being completely transparent in if I feel I would do things differently).

Thank you for reading and until next time, Adventure Awaits!
