Updated April 2026 Day 1: Mount Vernon On Saturday, the day began with some much needed coffee to prepare for 5 hours of driving. Then, arriving at our hotel to check in at Wyndham Mount Vernon in Washington state. The hotel was gorgeous with massively high ceilings, a gym, a pool, and free breakfast in the morning. Our hotel was a five minute walk from a Orange Teriyaki, a bowling alley, and some other shopping amenities.
